SRI KALYANA VENKATESWARA swamy temple is 35kms away from Tirupati . It is just 5kms away from Puttur. From Narayana Vanam we can go to Kona falls. This temple is now maintained by T.T.D.

As it is a small village, flowers or any other items necessary for pooja are not available at the temple, so devotees need to carry all the necessary item for pooja .

HISTORY

Narayanavanam was once the capital of the Kaarveti nagar Surya Vamsa Rajas. It is the place where Lord Venkateswara Swamy married Goddess Padmavathi Devi. Padmavathi Devi is daughter of a King named Akasaraju. She fell in love with Lord Venkateswara Swamy and was married to him. After their marriage in Narayanavanam, goddess Padmavathi’s brother constructed this temple. Near Padmavathi Devi temple you can see a big stone on which turmeric paste used in the marriage was grinded.

Annual Brahmostsavams are conducted every year at the main temple. Giri Pradakshana  is the important  festival conducted during Sankrathi(Pongal).
